Scott

Being the son of a veterinarian, I have always been around animals, at home and in my previous jobs working with exotics and the public.  I was one of the initial technicians and receptionists for Central California Veterinary Specialty Center and was rehired by Fresno Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center in October of 2009 as a receptionist and relief technician.  I believe I will always have an interest in the veterinary field, but as of now I am in my third year of doctoral school here in Fresno.  My other interests include costuming, music, cinema, and herpetology.  At home I have my furry children.  "Elke," my rescued feline (she's a brat) and Lucille (Lucy) the vagrant kitty that was so hungry, she was licking concrete.  I hope her home is better now.  I am so happy to be included with the staff of Fresno Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center being so part time.  The staff that works at this particular hospital has been my family for a very long time, some longer than a decade.  You won’t find a more committed group of people to the comfort and convalescence of a pet than here.  I am humbled to be a part of it.
